Keeping your waist trainer clean is extremely important not only for you but everyone around you; no one likes sitting next to the smelly ones on the train journey home from work :)
When you wear your trainer you will notice the increased sweating around your waistline, all this sweat get absorbed into the cincher, after a period of time if not washed your waist trainer will begin to smell just the same as you would if you didn’t keep up with your personal hygiene. Keeping your waist trainer clean is easy when you know how.
Follow these simple steps and your waist trainer will be smelly nice and fresh.
- Never put your waist trainer in the washing machine this will destroy the outer latex material and the waist trainer will be no good.
- Get a clean bowl with some warm soapy water (don’t overdo it with the detergent as this can irritate your skin). Use a soft cloth that is not to wet and gently clean your waist cincher all over with the soapy water.
- When you have finished the above empty the soapy water away and get some clean water clean off any excess soap. Now with a dry towel remove as much water as possible.
- Always leave your latex waist trainer to air dry properly, never place it near heat to dry as this will also destroy the latex and cause it to shrink.
If you are a dedicated waist trainer and use one most days we recommend you have a couple so you can alternate between them, giving them a chance to dry out completely before its next use.
Storing Your Waist Trainer
To prolong the life of your waist trainer store it in a place away from direct sunlight as this can discolour the trainer. Don’t just take it off and throw it on the floor ladies, allow it to air out for the following day or put it away in the morning.
Follow these steps and your waist trainer will be smelling fresh and last you for years to come.
